Gandhi in Hell
Doug Wilson has been blogging about Rob Bell’s book Love Wins, since the release of which Bell has been accused of teaching universalism (the idea that everyone gets saved in the end).
Public heresy (and Bell’s thinking is confused enough to at the very least look like heresy) is always a great opportunity to preach the gospel. It riles up the good guys. It comes in like Solomon’s sword and separates the hard-hearted sinner from the soft-hearted (contrite) one. The elect are not deceived.
So thank the Lord for sending Rob Bell.
It’s time we publicly talked about hell.
“Yes, fellow sinner. Wise, tolerant, peace-loving Mahatma Gandhi is most likely in hell. So, think about it. Where does that put you and me?”

Perhaps Bell should take a closer look at Gandhi. He wasn’t much like Jesus after all.
