Inquiétude Review
Here’s a new amazon review for Inquiétude. It’s by Jared Leonard (Georgia USA) who not only helped to edit the book but also contributed to an appendix. This could be seen as a conflict of interest (if there were any interest), but let’s just say no one is as familiar with this material as he is.
Get some inquietude in your life!
Mike is one of those rare individuals who not only sees the big picture (check out his first book, Bible Matrix) but also sees the tiniest parts which comprise the big picture (go examine his first commentary - The Shape of Galatians: A Covenant-Literary Analysis). In this latest offering, Mr. Bull provides us with another collection of examples which continue to vindicate the veracity of his unique exegetical method. I say unique but that is only because it stands in sharp contrast with what you find in most other theological offerings these days; genuine Spirit-wrought inquietude is the missing ingredient and here we have a whole book full of what it can produce.
Fair warning: no matter where you find or rate yourself on the biblical understanding scale, you will be challenged, you will be offended, you will be frustrated, you will be delighted, you may even be angered. But in all of these things you will be truly edified and, hopefully, just a little unsettled in just the right ways.
