High As the Horses’ Bridles
or Behold, I Make All Things Bloody
A critic wrote that Mel Gibson, with The Passion of the Christ, invented a new cinematic genre: the religious splatter film. This was intentionally disrespectful, but of course there is some truth to it. Perhaps more truth than we realise. God desired a world covered by blood.

Fantastic! You know me, I love chiasms, but I couldn’t find it in Leviticus. In the NT, I more often use Piper’s “arcing” ( http://www.desiringgod.org/media/pdf/booklets/BTBX.pd ) than macro-structural analysis, since the chiasms seem to be more for style than meaning (in Paul). But neither of these tools works in the heart of the Torah, Exodus 19-Numbers 10, to unlock intention. Creation Week’s abcABCD – the Bible Matrix – is a hammer in my Utility Belt now!

Yes – I agree about the chiasms often being more about style, although having the central “thesis” identified can be quite revealing (if there is one).
Paul does use the matrix quite a bit as far as I can tell. Here’s a few if you are interested, and I believe there are many more:
